Niki's career path may be a bit unconventional but it equipped her with a diverse set of skills and experiences that have led the Myerberg Center towards its very bright future. In 2001, Niki launched an independent music label. She and her band released nine albums and toured over 30 countries. In 2012, Niki became the Myerberg's Fitness and Wellness Director, where she used her entrepreneurial spirit to inspire her team and members to success, doubling membership and increasing personal training fivefold. Of course, all of this would not be possible without the one thing that keeps Niki waking up excited every morning - her passion for aging well and the Myerberg's community! In March 2019, Niki was promoted to Center Director and during the COVID-19 pandemic, led her team to quickly transition to virtual programs.

In August 2020, the Center launched the very first and largest Virtual Center in Maryland, providing adults around the globe access to fitness, humanities, technology, social and art programs. Most importantly, it provided connection at a time when the world needed it most. The program received national attention and Niki was selected as a presenter at NCOA's Age+Action 2021 Conference on the Virtual Senior Center Model. Niki holds an Associate's Degree in Business Administration and is a Certified Personal Trainer, Senior Fitness Specialist, Rock Steady Boxing Coach, and Alzheimer’s Disease Prevention and Intervention Specialist. She volunteers with the Maryland Association for Parkinson's Support, Inc. and is a member of the Baltimore Digital Equity Coalition.
