Chair Yoga

Our Parkinson’s Dance class will give people living with Parkinson’s the opportunity to explore fun movements, engaging music and a social environment. Dancers will learn movements from modern dance, folk, tap, social dancing and more.

Rock Steady Boxing (Sponsored by MAPS)

Instructor: Dawn Wagner

Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum. Boxers condition for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, balance, hand-eye coordination, footwork and overall strength to defend against and overcome opponents. This call is for Level 1/2.

Sculpting Arms

Using light weights (2 to 5 lbs, or none at all), we will target all major muscle groups of the arms as we get ready for a sleeveless summer. This will also strengthen your core and help with posture.

Senior Strong

The class is devoted to weight-bearing exercises that build muscle, is great for those with arthritis and osteoporosis, or those who just want to get stronger.
