Better Balance

You will learn to improve core stability and strength, as well as static balance and balance while in motion, through the practice of seated and standing weighted exercises. Join David on a quick training session where you will improve your strength, coordination and balance.

Our Parkinson’s Dance class will give people living with Parkinson’s the opportunity to explore fun movements, engaging music and a social environment. Dancers will learn movements from modern dance, folk, tap, social dancing and more.

Rock Steady Boxing (Sponsored by MAPS)
Instructor: Markese Hayden
Rock Steady Boxing gives people with Parkinson’s disease hope by improving their quality of life through a non-contact, boxing-based fitness curriculum. Boxers condition for optimal agility, speed, muscular endurance, accuracy, balance, hand-eye coordination, footwork and overall strength to defend against and overcome opponents. This call is for Level 1/2.
