Available Volunteer Positions
We are always looking for eager volunteers as we strive to provide support and memorable experiences for our visitors.
Greet Myerberg Center members using the library to help them find and check out books. This position is great for those interested in literature and enjoys interacting with older adults.
Two hour commitment, weekdays
Volunteers are stationed at the front entrance to greet members, register them for courses, answer questions and direct them to appropriate areas, activities and classes at the Center. This position is great for outgoing individuals with some office skills.
Two hour commitment, once a week
G Café Assistant Manager
Distribute pre-packaged breakfast and lunch food and collect payment from customers in the pleasant surroundings of the G Café at the Myerberg Center. This position is great for those with experience or interest in food service and enjoys interacting with people.
Two and half hour commitment, weekdays
Eating Together Program Coordinator
Volunteers help by serving a nourishing Kosher lunch to forty community members and socializing with lunch participants. This position is great for outgoing individuals with experience or interest in food service.
One hour commitment, weekdays
Work closely with the Myerberg Center Activities Coordinator to research and arrange day trips for Myerberg members and friends. This position is great for individuals interested in planning and traveling.
Schedule is flexible
Volunteers help with mailings at the Myerberg Center. This position is great for individuals with some office skills.
Commitment as needed
