Purchasing a Subscription
You have signed up for a subscription that includes a 14-day free trial. Your trial includes two additional days for account set-up. Therefore, you will not be charged until the 16th day. You may cancel at any time during the first 16 days. After that, your credit card will be charged automatically every 30 days until you cancel.
A 30-day notice is required for cancellations. To cancel your subscription, please call 443-963-1448 or email firstname.lastname@example.org. Our hours of operation are Mondays through Thursdays 8:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and Fridays 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. When you cancel a subscription, you will still be able to use your subscription for the time you’ve already paid. For example, if you started your subscription on the 1st of the month, you will have access until the last day of the current month. After that, your card will no longer be charged and access will no longer be available.
If an instructor must cancel his or her class for any reason, the class title will be updated to say “Cancelled”. Our instructors make every effort to schedule a make-up class at a later date. Due to varying schedules, we apologize if you are unable to participate in the make-up class. Most of our classes are recorded and made available in your on-demand catalog (coming soon) within 7 to 10 business days from the class date.
Limited Enrollment Classes ($)
Classes with a limited enrollment will require a nominal fee and are available on a first come, first served basis. Registration for these classes can be made online, by calling 443-963-1448 or by emailing email@example.com.
Zoom Etiquette and Best Practices
Mute Your Microphone
To help keep background noise to a minimum, make sure you mute your microphone when you are not speaking. [Click to Learn More]
Be Mindful of Background Noise
When your microphone is not muted, avoid activities that could create additional noise, such as shuffling papers or answering a phone.
Position Your Camera Properly
If you choose to use a web camera, be sure it is in a stable position and focused at eye level, if possible. Doing so helps create a more direct sense of engagement with other participants.
You can make it easier to focus on the classes by turning off notifications, closing or minimizing running apps, and muting your smartphone.
Feel free to type a question in the chat box. During the Zoom class, the chat box is located at the bottom of your screen. The host or speaker will monitor the chat during larger zoom calls.
