Bagel Boys with Uta Larkey, “The HaBrichah Network: the untold story of how Jews escaped Europe”

Uta Larkey is a professor at Goucher College, where she teaches courses on Holocaust studies, German language, culture and film, as well as Israeli cinema. She is the co-author of the book, Life and Loss in the Shadow of the Holocaust: A Jewish Family’s Untold Story, and author of several articles on Testimony and Memory of the Holocaust. She was a scholar-in-residence at the Hadassah Brandeis Institute and a fellow-in-residence at the Center for Advanced Holocaust Studies at the United States Holocaust Memorial Musuem. Her current research projects include Jewish DP camps in postwar Europe and the clandestine immigration efforts to Palestine 1945-48.
