Support the Zahav (Gold) Fund
Help us establish the Zahav Fund, an operating reserve fund which will provide financial stability and sustain this beloved center beyond its golden anniversary.
The Edward A. Myerberg Center has been a hub of activity and meaningful connection among older adults in Baltimore for 50 years. Founded in 1976 as the Northwest Senior Center, the Edward A. Myerberg Center is Baltimore’s largest privately operated nonprofit community center for older adults with a mission to inspire healthy aging through wellness, creativity, and connection.
You may be thinking, “What’s the difference between this new Zahav Fund and the Friends of Myerberg Annual Giving Campaign?” The Friends of Myerberg Annual Giving Campaign is an essential source of support for the Myerberg Center to sustain its day-to-day operations, maintain the building, and continue programs like Bridge Club. The new Zahav Fund will help close the annual operating gap that is left after membership dues, program fees, grants, and individual support from the Friends Campaign.
We invite you to commemorate 50 years of the Myerberg Center and support its future with a gift to the Zahav Fund.
Donors who contribute $1,000 or more will be recognized on the Jubilee Wall, a prominent donor recognition display located outside the event hall in the Myerberg’s main lobby.
