Chef Alba has been a cooking instructor for over 18 years. She is a food blogger, recipe writer, food tester, editor, private chef and cooking instructor. Born in Naples, Italy and raised in Tunisia, Alba’s passion is to share her muti-culture cooking experiences, and the art of simplifying techniques for her students. Alba has written two cookbooks; La Cucina Semplice and Flavors of Maghreb and Southern Italy. Alba has appeared on FOX DC, CBS DC, and PBS Virginia performing live demos. Alba is a member of Les Dames Escoffier International, International Association of Culinary Professionals, Slow Food movement, and Culinary Historians of Washington.
