Ellen Katz’s blood type is B – B for Broadway.  She pursues her passion for Broadway “Supermusicals” and the best of the American Songbook by engaging others. This creative “Edutainer” is applauded for her achievements in vocal performance and music education. She has performed with The Baltimore Symphony Chorus and the Handel Choir. 

Of late, she is a member of the award winning Dundalk Sweet Adelines engaging in the art of Women’s Acappella. 

Ellen’s education is impressive with a degree in music magna cum laude from the University of Maryland and graduate studies from Towson University. She is an “in demand” instructor for Osher at Towson University,  Community College of Baltimore County, the Myerberg Center and other lifelong learning centers in Baltimore, Clearwater and Naples Florida. Attendees agree that her programs are well-researched, engaging and enriching.
