Bridge Summer Class with Tobey Roland

Classes are taught in an interactive, engaging format that blends instruction, discussion, and collaborative play. Topics are tailored to the experience level and interests of each class, covering hand analysis, bidding, offensive and defensive strategies, and the art of partnership communication. At its core, bridge is a game of logic, deduction, strategy, and calculated risk – making every hand both challenging and rewarding.n n Students will receive helpful handouts along with recommendations for outstanding online resources to continue learning beyond the classroom.n n In addition to weekly class sessions, students will participate in competitive online games with fellow classmates and have opportunities for online partnership play with the instructor. Each class block also includes an additional duplicate bridge session at the Myerberg.n n Intermediate players will receive substantial strategic guidance while reinforcing key fundamentals, and beginning students will gradually be introduced to selected intermediate and advanced concepts to help strengthen and expand their game from the start.n n Class is 6/22, 6/29, 7/6 & 7/27n n Played and loved around the world, bridge is a timeless game that offers intellectual stimulation, social connection, and enjoyment for players of all ages and experience levels.
